Privacy Policy
The protection of your personal data is particularly important to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the applicable legal provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). As a rule, our website can be used without providing any personal data. Where personal data is collected on our website, this is done, wherever possible, on a voluntary basis. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent. We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. communication by email) may be subject to security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
In this Privacy Policy, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing in connection with our website.
How do we collect data?
We collect data when you use our services. When you visit our digital assets and use our services, we may collect, record and store information about your use, sessions and related information.
We collect data that you provide to us yourself, for example when you contact us directly through a communication channel (e.g. an email containing a comment or feedback).
We may collect data from third-party sources as described below.
We collect data that you provide to us when you sign in to our services through a third-party provider such as Facebook or Google.
Why do we collect this data?
to provide and operate our services;
to develop, customize and improve our services;
to respond to your feedback, enquiries and requests and to provide assistance;
to analyze demand and usage patterns;
for other internal, statistical and research purposes;
to improve our data security and fraud prevention capabilities;
to investigate violations, enforce our terms and policies, and comply with applicable laws, regulations or official orders;
to send you updates, news, promotional materials and other information relating to our services. In the case of promotional emails, you can decide whether you wish to continue receiving them. If not, simply click the unsubscribe link in these emails.
Who do we share this data with?
We may share your data with our service providers in order to operate our services (e.g. storing data via third-party hosting services, providing technical support, etc.).
We may also disclose your data under the following circumstances: (i) to investigate, detect, prevent or take action against unlawful activities or other misconduct; (ii) to establish or exercise our rights of defense; (iii) to protect our rights, property or personal safety, as well as the safety of our users or the public; (iv) in the event of a change of control involving us or one of our affiliated companies (through a merger, acquisition or purchase of substantially all assets, among other things); (v) to collect, retain and/or manage your data through authorized third-party providers (e.g. cloud service providers), where appropriate for business purposes; (vi) to work jointly with third parties to improve your user experience. For the avoidance of doubt, we may transfer or disclose non-personal data to third parties or otherwise use such data at our discretion.
Cookies
Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device with the help of your browser. They do not cause any damage. We use cookies to make our website more user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit our website.
When you visit or access our services, we authorize third parties to use web beacons, cookies, pixel tags, scripts and other technologies and analytics services ("Tracking Technologies"). These Tracking Technologies may enable third parties to automatically collect your data in order to improve your browsing experience on our digital assets, optimize their performance, provide a customized user experience, and for security and fraud prevention purposes.
Managing and deleting cookies
Until you consent to our privacy provisions, only technically necessary cookies are active; so-called third-party cookies are blocked.
If you wish to block or delete cookies completely, you can also make these changes in your Internet browser settings. The procedures for managing and deleting cookies can be found in your browser's integrated help function. Please note, however, that if you do so, you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.
Server Log Files
The provider of this website automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
Browser type and browser version
Operating system used
Referrer URL
Host name of the accessing computer
Time of the server request
This data cannot be attributed to specific individuals. This data is not combined with other data sources. We reserve the right to review this data retrospectively if we become aware of specific indications of unlawful use.
The hosting service for our digital assets provides us with the online platform through which we can offer our services to you. Your data may be stored through our hosting provider's data storage facilities, databases and general applications. The provider stores your data on secure servers behind a firewall and provides secure HTTPS access to most areas of its services.
How long is the data retained?
Please note that we retain the data we collect for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with our legal and contractual obligations to you, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
We may correct, supplement or delete inaccurate or incomplete data at any time at our discretion.
Contact Form
If you send us enquiries via the contact form, the information you provide in the enquiry form, including the contact details you enter there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We will not disclose this data without your consent.
The processing of the data entered into the contact form is therefore based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw this consent at any time. An informal notification by email is sufficient. The lawfulness of data processing carried out prior to the withdrawal of consent remains unaffected.
The data you enter into the contact form will remain with us until you request its deletion, withdraw your consent to its storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. once your enquiry has been fully processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.
Web Fonts
This website uses so-called Web Fonts provided by Google to ensure the consistent display of fonts. When you access a page, your browser loads the required Web Fonts into its browser cache in order to display text and fonts correctly. […] The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of providing a consistent and attractive presentation of our online services. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. […] Further information about Google Web Fonts can be found at developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google's Privacy Policy at google.com/policies/privacy/.
Your Rights
In principle, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, withdrawal of consent and objection. Provided that your request does not conflict with a legal obligation to retain data (e.g. statutory data retention requirements), you have the right to have incorrect data corrected and your personal data blocked or deleted.
Children may use our services. However, if they wish to access certain features, they may be required to provide certain information. Some data (including data collected through cookies, web beacons and other similar technologies) may be collected automatically. If we knowingly collect, use or disclose data collected from a child, we will provide notice and obtain parental consent in accordance with applicable law. We do not make a child's participation in an online activity conditional upon the child providing more contact information than is reasonably necessary to participate in that activity. We use the data we collect only in connection with the services requested by the child.
We may also use a parent's contact details to communicate about the child's activities in the services. Parents may review data we have collected from their child, prohibit us from collecting further data from their child, and request that all data we have collected be deleted from our records.
Please contact us to review, update or delete your child's data. To protect your child, we may ask you to provide proof of your identity. We may deny access to the data if we believe that your identity is in doubt. Please note that certain data cannot be deleted due to other legal obligations.
If you use the services as a California resident, you may be entitled under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") to request access to and deletion of your data.

the use of your personal data is necessary to perform or enter into a contract (e.g. to provide you with the services themselves, customer service or technical support);
the use of your personal data is necessary to comply with applicable legal or regulatory obligations; or
the use of your personal data is necessary to support our legitimate business interests (provided that this is always done in a proportionate manner and in a way that respects your privacy rights).
As an EU resident, you may:
request confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you is being processed and request access to your stored personal data as well as certain additional information;
request to receive personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format;
request the rectification of your personal data stored by us;
request the deletion of your personal data;

Please note, however, that these rights are not absolute and may be subject to our own legitimate interests and regulatory requirements. If you have general questions about the personal data we collect and how we use it, please contact us as indicated below.
In the course of providing the services, we may transfer data across borders to affiliated companies or other third parties and from your country/jurisdiction to other countries/jurisdictions around the world. By using the services, you consent to the transfer of your data outside the EEA.
Where do we store the data?
Personal data may be maintained, processed and stored in the United States, Ireland, South Korea, Taiwan, Israel and, where necessary for the proper provision of our services and/or as required by law (as further explained below), in other jurisdictions.
Non-Personal Data
Please note that our companies, as well as our trusted partners and service providers, are located around the world. For the purposes explained in this Privacy Policy, we store and process all non-personal data we collect in various jurisdictions.
If you are located in the EEA, your personal data will only be transferred to locations outside the EEA where we believe that an adequate or comparable level of protection for personal data is in place. We will take appropriate steps to ensure that we have suitable contractual arrangements with our third parties to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, minimizing the risk of unlawful use, alteration, deletion, loss or theft of your personal data, and ensuring that these third parties act in accordance with applicable laws at all times.
