Turntable - Revelation III
Drawing on the insights gained during the development of the Revelation I turntable, the Revelation III turntable was created as a more reduced and accessible interpretation of the concept. Our focus was to preserve the essential characteristics and the reference-level performance of its larger sibling while achieving an exceptionally attractive price-to-performance ratio.
The result is a turntable that not only captivates with its refined, minimalist design, but also sets new sonic benchmarks. Despite its streamlined construction and accessible price, it exceeds our original sonic expectations by a wide margin. Carefully selected materials and precision manufacturing techniques ensure an outstanding level of musical performance, complemented by a strong and elegant aesthetic presence.
Bearing
For the Revelation III, we developed a compact version of the Revelation I bearing. This bearing employs a hydrodynamic, non-inverted design, featuring a bearing thrust pad made from polycrystalline diamond. In combination with ultra-high-precision bearing components, it ensures excellent speed stability and extremely low noise levels.
A key characteristic of this design is the efficient dissipation of energy generated during the tracing process, resulting in maximum system performance and an outstanding musical experience.
Platter
Our platter is manufactured from a specialized stainless steel alloy and weighs approximately 10 kg. It is precisely optimized for vertical run-out and concentricity, achieving tolerances of less than 0.02 mm.
To reduce resonances, the stainless steel platter is equipped with solid brass damping elements, ensuring highly effective vibration control and mechanical stability.
Drive system
The drive unit is positioned separately from the turntable and is fully decoupled from it.
The multi-layer isolated motor drives the platter via a precision belt. Particular attention has been given to the exact machining and balanced mass distribution of the motor pulley, ensuring the highest level of speed accuracy and musical precision.
